Resume : The series takes place in a universe parallel to City Hunter. A young Taiwanese assassin codenamed "Glass Heart" committed suicide by jumping off a building, and her heart was pierced by a metal fence. Miraculously, her life was saved by heart transplantation. During her recovery she began to experience strange dreams, which led her to Japan looking for the donor of her heart, who happens to be Kaori Makimura, former partner of City Hunter.
Si vous êtes tristes de la fin de City Hunter, ce titre est fait pour vous. Par contre, si vous aimez le duo Ryo/Kaori passez votre chemin. Angel Heart offre un retour de Ryo et des autres personnage de CH par contre la série est différente de son aîné. Elle offre à Ryo l'occasion d'être un père, hélas le titre souffre d'un ralentissement et d'un scénario un peu mou. La série est portée plus par ces personnages que par ses histoires.
